
Application:
This Submersible
pump including vortex impeller of cast iron is used to transfer
dirty water containing non-abrasive solid particles, surplus
rain and flood water, stream and river water, to irrigate the
farms and to evacuate the pits filled by waste water.
Technical
characteristics:
Parts: Cylinder
block and pump casing are made of special alloyed aluminum, the
impeller and the cap of Ductile cast iron and shaft & all screws
of stainless steel which multiply the resistance to corrosion.
Paint: All
cast iron parts are covered by a special paint of Epoxy (the
paint used in coating Ships’ hulks) which creates a good
resistance to oxidation. After final manufacturing and testing
of all parts made of aluminum and before painting them, they are
degreased in specific small pools and then acid dipping to get
high resistance against the salts soluble in water.
Impeller: The vortex impeller
which is made of special Ductile cast iron.
Mechanical seal:
Using anti-abrasive seals (Silicon Carbide) with high quality to
increase pump lifetime. To supply high quality and more reliable
pumps and to increase the mechanical seals lifetime, SPICO has
applied a special chamber full of oil between pump and electro
motor which are sealed by using two mechanical seals and two oil
seals which the oil can be controlled by an Allen screw no.8.
Porosity impregnation: All casting
parts have been alloyed by professional experts to avoid any
pores or minute leaks in them. However, SPICO performs Porosity
Impregnation process for main casting parts by using special
machines and resin. So the electro motor penetrability to water
reaches zero.
ID: All SPICO products have a
serial no., engraved on pump casing, which is known as their
identification no. This number specifies the production file and
the technical ID of each pump which are kept in Company filing
system.
Guarantee: All SPICO products,
according to attached warranty terms, are guaranteed for
SIX MONTHS upon purchase date.
Using high protective systems for pumps are recommended.
